Northside Hospital has long been synonymous with high quality, comprehensive, compassionate care. It's this same expertise that has been brought to Cherokee County and to Northside Hospital-Cherokee. With nearly 400 physicians on its medical staff and more than 600 employees, Northside Hospital-Cherokee is an 84-bed, not-for-profit, full-service community hospital.

In early 2009, Northside Hospital-Cherokee opened two newly constructed surgical suites. These new suites are a part of an expansion project that also includes the addition of six post- and pre-operative rooms, a new main lobby and additional support services space. The renovation of 4 previously existing surgical suites is currently underway.

Northside Hospital-Cherokee began offering robotic surgery in 2007 is currently performing robotic-assisted surgery for general surgery, GYN and urology procedures.
