PACU RN

Reporting to the Department Manager of Sandy Springs Surgery Center, the PACU RN will be responsible for managing the patient care of assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the Department.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience. Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to PACU and Extended Recovery areas within probationary period.
  • Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • ACLS certification.
  • National certification in specialty area preferred.
  • The days are Monday - Thursday. No call, holidays or weekends.
